Yo’ adds another one. This time it’s 6-1 forward Jade Tillman out of UMBC

Ole Miss head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin just added another piece to her team rebuild through the transfer portal. University of Maryland-Baltimore County forward Jade Tillman has signed to continue her career in Oxford as an Ole Miss Rebel.

The 6-1 Tillman brings with her one season of eligibility.

Tillman averaged 15.8 points per game, 7.4 rebounds and 1.9 steals during the 2025-2026 season.

“Jade has great size, skill, and toughness,” said McPhee-McCuin. “Her former coaches have done a great job preparing her to play at our level and her physicality and two-way ability fits the mold of Ole Miss players who have had tremendous impact in the SEC and beyond. We are grateful to have her join us here in Oxford.”

Tillman joins Maya Anderson, Jaida Civil, Talaysia Cooper, Knisha Godfrey, Emily Howard, Rachael Okokoh and Jada Richard as the ninth addition for the Rebels out of the transfer portal, along with returners Desrae Kyles, Lauren Jacobs and Sira Thienou, Ole Miss currently has 12 student-athletes on its 2026-27 roster.

SCOUTING REPORT

Tillman is a dynamic player, who brings toughness, versatility and a strong tqwo-way presence on the floor. Known for her ability to impact the game on both ends, she can score off the bounce, stretch the defense with her perimeter shooting and apply consistent pressure defensively. Tillman’s motor and competitiveness make her a reliable contributor. She is capable of creating plays for herself and her teammates while embracing physical, hard-nosed basketball.
