OXFORD, Miss. — LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt is expected to be available Saturday night against No. 8 Ole Miss after being removed from Friday’s SEC availability report.
Leavitt has rushed for 135 yards and five touchdowns through two games, but he’s also thrown four interceptions.
Pete Golding’s defense must keep him in the pocket, maintain disciplined pass-rush lanes and force him to make throws under pressure.
The Rebels also need to capitalize when Leavitt gives them opportunities to take the football away.
Leavitt’s legs can change a game. Ole Miss needs to make sure his mistakes do, too.
