
Patton Pinkins
Patton Pinkins is staying home.
The 6-5 freshman guard plans to return to Ole Miss for his sophomore season. He averaged 9.3 points per game, and shot 46.5 percent from the field.
Pinkins is originally from Murfreesboro, Tenn., alongside a fan favorite Malik Dia. Pinkins led his high school team to 28 wins his senior year, and was ranked ​​as the No. 14 shooting guard in the 2025 class.
During Pinkins’ freshman year at Ole Miss, he played in 35 games, and made 20 starts. He ranked second on the team with shots from deep coming in at 43. His free-throw percentage also earned him second place on the Ole Miss roster with 85 percent.
Pinkins was a standout against conference opponents. In Ole Miss’s SEC opener against Oklahoma he scored 25 points and went 9-for-11 from the floor. On the road against Georgia he helped the team secure a ranked win with 18 points. Again, on the road, this time at Auburn, Pinkins gained a season high of 26 points securing another Ole Miss win.
As a true freshman Pinkins was definitely a difference maker, and will continue to be in The Sip.
