Ole Miss lands 4-star edge Antwan Jackson in major recruiting victory

4-star edge Antwan Jackson

Ole Miss added another significant piece to its 2027 recruiting class with the commitment of four-star EDGE Antwan Jackson, giving Pete Golding and the Rebels another highly coveted defensive playmaker.

The 6-foot-5, 230-pound standout from White Station High School in Memphis chose Ole Miss over Alabama, Missouri and several other Power Four programs after building strong relationships with the Rebels’ coaching staff throughout his recruitment. Jackson has consistently praised Ole Miss for making him a priority and believes Oxford is the right place to continue his development.

Jackson is regarded as one of Tennessee’s top defensive prospects in the 2027 class. As a junior, he recorded 46 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, seven quarterback pressures, three forced fumbles and one interception, while also contributing offensively with 11 receptions for 216 yards.
