Actually it appears LSU is the team to beat for Dottery and he may have already signed. I thought Alabama and Auburn were the teams to beat for his services.

Good question. We are brining in three hybrid types (edge players) this week according to various media sites but no true inside guys.

If we lose him we lose him. The guy had more bust than anyone in our front 6/7. He was a strong leader and called plays on defense, a good player but replaceable.
I read on another site he is asking for north of 700K. If true, I’m sorry but he is not worth that amount of money.

Walker Howard just entered the portal today with a (do not contact) tag. He will probably be a part of the QB room next year.

If we are serious about DJ Lagway and sign him I doubt we sign Duce even though we are likely to sign two QB’s. I keep hearing Duce is demanding starter money which is probably cost prohibited for OM if they take Lagway. I would be surprised if we sign both. It will be interesting to watch this play out.

Hopefully we will be able to sign Deuce as our QB of the future. He can play a year under Trinidad (hopefully) learn the system and take over as the starter in 2027.
