I would love to see in writing the comments from some of the African-American parents/grandparents about their visit(s) to Oxford and Ole Miss. I wonder if there will be an answer from anyone from the university. Maybe we just need to let it sit there and fester. He just can’t stand not being the center of attention can he? He’s not been the focus of attention in a while and it’s taken its toll on him I guess.

Where did you coach in Mississippi? My father coached and taught in Greenville for many years but that was many years ago too. I was in high school in the 60’s and he was coaching his last few years in the early 70’s.

Thanks to all for your answers. Steve, I really enjoy your Locked On Ole Miss podcast. Yours is the first podcast I’ve ever listened to. This website is so much better for me than the 247. I didn’t like the way it changed and didn’t feel welcomed there.

I also hope no boots on the ground. Our g-daughter has a boyfriend stationed at Camp LeJeune and he just got back from 6 months in Japan. I was married 3 months and husband got sent to VietNam. He came back in great shape but I don’t wish separations like that on anyone.

Also, David, you said something about the ones of us who subscribed in the very early days were going to get, I guess the best way to put it, was something special. Does that still hold true?

I’m not sure about this but the ads in Locked On Ole Miss take longer than the actual comments from Steven Willis. Any chance yearly subscribers could have those removed somehow?

Yes, I did too but just reading the topics is quite entertaining. I can’t see the answers but wow, the range of different topics that don’t pertain to sports is fascinating. I get a good laugh from them!
