CARLSBAD, Calif. – Cameron Tankersley delivered another stellar round at the NCAA Championship, as No. 9 Ole Miss men’s golf wrapped up day two at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.

The Rebels improved their round one score by ten strokes on Saturday, shooting 5-over to bring Ole Miss to 20-over par on the weekend.

Tankersley finished 5-under on the day and 4-under through two rounds to move himself inside the top 20 individually. The senior started the day strong with a spotless front nine, making five birdies and four pars. The All-Region honoree added two more red numbers to his scorecard following the turn, totaling ten birdies on the weekend so far, which ties for fifth most by an individual. Additionally, it marked Tankersley’s 20th round below par this season.

Cohen Trolio and Finn Meister both shot 3-over on day two, while Tom Fischer and Collins Trolio went 4-over.

Ole Miss will await its tee times for Sunday as teams continue to complete round three in Carlsbad, California throughout the afternoon.
