Who wins and by how much?

No. 13 Missouri (5-1, 2-1 SEC) at No. 9 Ole Miss (4-1, 2-1 SEC)

Rankings aside, this is going to be a battle between two very good SEC teams. It’s also a battle between Missouri quarterback Austin Simmons and Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss, who sent Simmons packing from Oxford to Columbia.

Then there are the individual battles between Missouri wide receiver Cayden Lee and the Ole Miss secondary. Lee was once one of the Rebels top receivers but decided to follow Simmons to Mizzou.

In short, this game is not short on storylines.

And it could possibly be a playoff eliminator for the loser. That’s not likely, as Ole Miss still has opportunities remaining with Texas and Georgia, but a loss to another conference foe will harm both teams’ chances at playoff football.

Chambliss and Simmons will both have great games, I predict. But this game is going to come down to which team can run the football best. Will it be Ole Miss with a freshly healed Kewan Lacy or Missouri without great running back Ahmad Hardy, who is still recovering from injury?

I expect a physical contest in which the Rebels’ proven homefield advantage will be tested.

I don’t believe this one will be decided until late in the fourth quarter.

OLE MISS 34, MISSOURI 28
