Ole Miss isn’t waiting until kickoff to begin its Heisman push.

The Rebels have officially launched a campaign centered around quarterback Trinidad Chambliss and running back Kewan Lacy, two players expected to lead one of the nation’s most explosive offenses in 2026.

Chambliss is coming off a remarkable season in which he threw for 3,937 yards, 22 touchdowns and just three interceptions while adding 527 rushing yards and eight more scores. His 4,464 total yards and 30 touchdowns helped lead Ole Miss to the College Football Playoff and firmly placed him among the SEC’s top quarterbacks.

Lacy was just as productive, rushing for 1,567 yards and 24 touchdowns while adding 177 receiving yards. His 1,744 all-purpose yards and preseason All-America recognition have made him one of the nation’s top running backs entering the season.
Ole Miss is now inviting fans to help build that momentum. On Tuesday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the first 500 fans who visit Gate 10 at the northeast corner of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium will receive free Heisman campaign yard signs, bumper stickers and buttons.
If the Rebels get off to a fast start and contend for an SEC title, both Chambliss and Lacy should find themselves squarely in the national spotlight. A successful Heisman campaign would not only recognize two of college football’s biggest stars, but also continue elevating Ole Miss’ brand on the national stage.
For Ole Miss, the road to New York has already begun.
