Ole Miss locked up a commitment from 2028, four-star safety Giovanni Tuggle out of Barrow High School in Winder, Ga., on Tuesday.
The 6-0, 175-pounder is ranked as the No. 5 safety nationally and the No. 56 overall player in the country in the 2028 class.
Giovanni chose the Rebels over SEC programs Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M. He also held offers from Clemson, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon, Georgia Tech, Florida State and others.
Last fall, as a sophomore, he recorded 74 tackles and four interceptions.
