
Ole Miss star Cotie McMahon scored 32 points and reeled in 12 rebounds to lead the Rebels to victory.
Ole Miss closed the game by scoring on its final 11 possession and superstar Cotie McMahon executed a season-high 33 points and grabbed a team-best 12 boards as the Rebels downed the Missouri Tigers 82-61 on Thursday in Columbia.
The game was a must win for Ole Miss to keep pace in the rugged SEC after the Rebels suffered a devastating loss at Georgia last Sunday…a team they had beaten by more than 20 points a few weeks before the rematch.

Thrsday’s game was a defensive battle in the first and second quarters, as the Rebels led Missouri 29-23 at halftime.
But the lids came off the rim in the fourth quarter. Ole Miss which shot 50.8 percent (32-of-63) from the floor, carried a 49-39 lead into the final period, and outscored Missouri 33-22 over the final 10 minutes en route to the blowout win.
Ole Miss, ranked 18th in the nation, improved to 17-4 overall and to 4-2 in league play. Missouri dropped to 13-9 and to 1-6 in the SEC.
Siera Theinou did her part to help, as she scored 17 points and reeled in 10 rebouds. Latasha Lattimore followed McMahon and Theinou with 10 points of her own.
It was a career night for McMahon, as she hit some amazing shots. There was layup she scored where she was surrounded by all five Missouri players. The Tigers simply had no answer for her. She would use her athleticism when guarded by bigs and her strength when guarded by smaller players. I additon to her 33 points and 12 rebounds, she was credited with five assists and two blocked shots.
