Ismael Schiefer
Ole Miss will host one of the nation’s fastest, most emerging prospects later this month. IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) edge Ismael Schiefer will visit the Rebel football program on March 20, he announced on Thursday morning.
The 6-4, 245-pound Schiefer is not rated but owns an offer sheet that suggests he will eventually be a four-star prospect. In addition to the Rebels, he holds offers from SEC programs Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, as well as Duke, Florida State, Michigan, USC and Wake Forest. Alabama is also showing strong interest.
Ole Miss is one of several visits set for Schiefer, as he takes a tour of some of America’s top campuses and programs. He will take other unofficial trips to Georgia (March 17), Tennessee (March 19), LSU (March 22), Florida (March 28), USC (April 4), Texas (April 11) and back to his native state Georgia Bulldogs (April 18).
Schiefer is a native of Loganville (Ga.) where he played his freshman season at Loganville High School. Ole Miss has recruited Loganville, Ga., well in the past, including former five-star defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche.
