Chris Beard had a lot of things to target in the transfer portal this offseason, and a seasoned guard was amongst the top of his list.
Ole Miss officially has signed Clark from Seton Hall, where he started all 33 games for the Pirates last season.
A 5-foot-10 guard from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Clark will have one season of eligibility remaining. Prior to Seton Hall, Clark spent two seasons playing for the Merrimack Warriors. He was named named rookie of the year his freshman season with the Warriors, averaging 13.4 points per game.
Clark averaged a team high 12.7 points and 4.9 assists per game last season. He also was named ALL-Big East Second Team, and apart of the conferences inaugural All-Defensive Team.
Clark’s defensive ability immediately stands out, fitting in with the resume for great defensive teams that Chris Beard is known for.
