Ole Miss offers talented Texas wideout

Tristan Shelton

Ole Miss reached into the Lone Star State this weekend to pull the trigger on an offer to 2028 wide receiver Tristan Shelton out of Denton (Texas) Guyer High School. The 6-0, 180-pounder is currently unrated but his offer sheet suggests that he is a future four-star prospect. The Rebels join an offer sheet that includes Mississippi State, Arizona, Baylor, Colorado, Houston, Purdue, Syracuse, TCU, Texas Tech, Wake Forest, SMU, North Texas and Tulane.

Shelton is a legacy recruit to Baylor. His father, Trent Shelton, played for Baylor from 2004-2006. He is a multi-sport contributor at Denton Guyer High School, standing out on the track & field team.
