Javeon “JJ” Johnson
Ole Miss continued adding to its 2028 in-state recruiting board Friday by extending an offer to Ridgeland High School defensive back Javeon “JJ” Johnson.
Johnson is a 6-foot, 160-pound defensive back who carries a 3.6 GPA and has already put together a growing Division I offer list.
Along with Ole Miss, Johnson holds offers from South Alabama, Georgia State, Jackson State and Jacksonville State.
The Ole Miss offer is Johnson’s first from an SEC program and gives the Rebels an early position in his recruitment.
Johnson is now another in-state prospect for Ole Miss fans to keep an eye on as the 2028 cycle develops. With his first SEC offer secured, his recruitment should be worth following throughout the fall.
