Brody Wilson
Ole Miss has added another talented piece to its future baseball roster with the commitment of Brody Wilson, one of Mississippi’s top high school players. Wilson, who was previously committed to Itawamba Community College, will instead continue his career in Oxford, giving Mike Bianco and the Rebels another versatile playmaker. Â
Wilson starred at Tupelo High School during his senior season, batting .474 with a .653 on-base percentage, 37 hits, 14 home runs, and 39 RBIs. On the mound, he posted a 2.33 ERA with 63 strikeouts and only 10 walks, earning Mississippi Class 7A First-Team All-State honors while emerging as one of the state’s premier two-way players.
The multi-sport standout has experience behind the plate, in the infield, and on the mound, giving the Rebels plenty of options as he develops. His power at the plate, strong arm, and versatility make him an exciting addition to an Ole Miss program that continues to build one of the SEC’s deepest rosters
