Ole Miss has jumped into the race for an elite wide receiver from the Lone Star State.
The Rebels extended an offer on Tuesday to Manvel (Texas) High School, consensus four-star wide receiver Carter St. Junious. The 6-3-183-pounder has already visited Nebraska twice and Texas once.
Ole Miss joins an offer sheet that includes SEC programs Texas A&M, Texas and Oklahoma.
Ole Miss has peaked St. Junious’ interest because of their high development of wide receivers and ability to push its pass catchers beyond the college level and into the NFL.
St. Junious is being recruited by wide receivers coach La’damian Washington and assistant Patrick Carter.
