An elite defensive lineman recently put Ole Miss inside his top five after spending a little time in Oxford. Marvin Nguestop,a highly coveted edge, put Ole Miss along with Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio State on his short list.
Nguestop was on the Ole Miss campus just a few days ago on an unofficial visit.
The 6-7, 275-pounder plays high school ball in Connecticut where he is that state’s No. 2 recruit in the 2027 class.

In addition to his top five. Nguestop holds offers from SEC programs Georgia, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Texas, Tennessee and Florida, as well as Nebraska, Michigan State, Boston College, Penn State, Miami, Florida State, UCLA, Stanford and others.
Ole Miss defensive line coach Randal Joyner and assistant Mike Stoops are his primary recruiters for the Rebels.
Nguestop will take an official visit to Ole Miss on June 19.
Ole Miss’ ability to develop and produce defensive lineman is something has caught Nguestop’s attention. The Rebels were one of the initial teams to begin recruiting Nguestop.
Nguestop is of Nigerian descent but has spent considerable time in Dusseldorf, Germany.
