The transfer portal window…a two-week episode of chaos…has closed. That’s it. If a player did not get in, it is too late now.
But remember, it does not mean it is over. Players who are in can and will announce their next schools.
The portal, even for the most devout fans, can be confusing. That’s why we are supplying this list of who’s here…and who is no longer residing within the wall of the Manning Center.
Head coach Pete Golding has done quite well, In fact, as things stand now, the Rebels’ transfer portal class is ranked No. 2 nationally, only behind Lane Kiffin and LSU.
Just because a player has entered the portal does not mean he is leaving. Two such cases involving Ole Miss are those of wide receiver Cayden lee and edge Princewill Umanmielen. Both are eventually expected to withdraw from the transfer portal, according to sources.
