Kewan Lacy
Ole Miss head coach Pete Golding confirmed on Monday that Rebels star running back Kewan Lacy dislocated his left shoulder Saturday night and will not play this week versus Auburn.
Lacy injured his left shoulder again during Saturday’s loss at Texas. He went down in the third quarter after being tackled by multiple defenders, needed assistance leaving the field and did not return.
Lacy, who had been managing a shoulder issue all season, was tackled hard on his 16th carry of the night and fell on his left shoulder.
The Rebels will evaluate his progress, and no timeline for return has been given.
Lacy has been a key contributor despite injury concerns, with 388 rushing yards and five touchdowns in 2026. He had been cleared to play before Texas, but this injury is a setback.
Ole Miss has depth at the position, with Makhi Frazier and others able to step up.
