July could bring another recruiting surge for Ole Miss

Ole Miss isn’t finished building momentum on the recruiting trail.

After a productive June that strengthened one of the nation’s top 2027 recruiting classes, the Rebels are now awaiting several key July commitment announcements from priority targets who could further elevate the class nationally.

The first major date to watch is July 1, when four-star athlete Tae Walden Jr. is scheduled to announce his decision. Ole Miss is battling several SEC and national programs for one of the South’s most dynamic two-way prospects.

Another significant announcement is expected on July 18, when highly regarded defensive back Adryan Cole reveals his college choice. The Rebels have remained heavily involved throughout his recruitment and view him as one of the top defensive priorities remaining on their board.

With 12 four-star commitments already in the class and a top-20 national ranking, Pete Golding and his staff have positioned Ole Miss for another potentially explosive month on the recruiting trail. If the Rebels can capitalize on their remaining July targets, the class could continue climbing the national rankings while further solidifying Ole Miss as one of the SEC’s hottest recruiting programs.
