Will Echoles No. 2
Ole Miss has plenty to play for this season, but NFL scouts are already paying close attention to what’s happening in Oxford.
Four Rebels were listed among the Top 50 prospects for the 2027 NFL Draft — and all four landed inside the Top 30.
Will Echoles leads the group at No. 4 overall, followed by quarterback Trinidad Chambliss at No. 16, running back Kewan Lacy at No. 28 and wide receiver Deuce Alexander at No. 29.
That’s a pretty strong statement about the talent Pete Golding has on this roster.
Will Echoles — No. 4
Echoles has become one of the biggest names on the Ole Miss defense and continues to build his NFL stock.
At 6-foot-3 and 315 pounds, he has the size, strength and athleticism NFL teams are looking for inside. Being ranked No. 4 overall puts him firmly in the conversation as one of the premier prospects in the 2027 class.
Trinidad Chambliss — No. 16
The Chambliss NFL buzz isn’t slowing down.
His ability to make plays with his arm and legs has caught the attention of scouts, and he continues to look comfortable running the Ole Miss offense.
Now he’s sitting at No. 16 overall on the draft board.
Kewan Lacy — No. 28
Lacy remains one of the most explosive players on the Ole Miss offense when healthy.
He brings speed, vision and the ability to turn a small opening into a big play. His ranking at No. 28 gives Ole Miss another potential early-round prospect on offense.
Deuce Alexander — No. 29
Alexander continues to emerge as one of Chambliss’ biggest weapons.
He has the speed to stretch the field, but his overall game has continued to develop. Sitting at No. 29 overall puts him firmly on the NFL radar heading into the heart of the season.
There’s still a long way to go before the 2027 NFL Draft, and plenty can change.
But four Ole Miss players inside the Top 30 is worth paying attention to.
Echoles, Chambliss, Lacy and Alexander aren’t just helping Ole Miss right now.
They’re also giving NFL scouts plenty to watch.
