Anyone know anything abt Fresno State being contacted about Ole Miss tampering with them? Also what this about OM has receipts about tampering. Do we have our own receipts or do we have copies from other schools saying we’ve tampered with them?

Dixie, they are all tampering in various degrees. It’s wrong on all fronts but it appears that all is fair in this “pay for play” era. We whined when LSU was tampering with us all while we’re tampering with Clemson. There’s no shame left cause winning is all that matters. Someone has got to get rules in play with serious consequences.

This will blow over to an extent. Ole Miss has reached a point of being a cash cow now. Pete might get a one-game suspension or something akin to it, but it won’t get much bigger than that. The SEC will tell the NCAA what it can do.

While I agree with most of what you have said I do not have any confidence in the SEC challenging the NCAA on OM’s behalf. In fact there are at least three, maybe four SEC schools helping drive this narrative.

Like DJ said, this will blow over; this is just a part of the landscape of recruiting these days. It’s been happening for a long time. It just really doesn’t start with the coaches; there are some of these “agents” that are at the source of this. I know of agents that put feelers out for athletes they represent that have not even expressed a desire to move on for their programs. Crazy age now! Programs all have to keep up!

Ole Miss was the most tampered with team in CFB this year and it wasn’t close. Now everyone is pearl clutching over a 4 star linebacker that hadn’t even signed a rev share agreement 😂. It’s laughable.

Truly we tampered with the one guy who would throw a public temper tantrum. Most other coaches tamper, so you would never hear them speak out like Dabo.
