The strange saga of Lane Kiffin keeps playing out. Ole Miss assistants Charlie Weis, Kevin Smith, George McDonald and Joe Cox were in Baton Rouge on Friday, recruiting the portal for the LSU Tigers. I am told they are back in Oxford today to begin prep for next week’s game with Miami. No way you scratch it, this is not ideal.

It’s not ideal but I’m just wanting every coach there willing to help us win the next one. All these are good men stuck in a tough situation. I know these guys and they all want to win the Natty. Let’s trust them to move us forward!

I am going to trust Coach Golding on this one.

My biggest concern in the playoffs going in was that we would fall flat on our face and then the riff raff of the fan base would attack Keith Carter and Pete Golding as being weak, inept, having a WAOM moment, …..
I was cautiously optimistic about what the Tulane game would look like. Man was that an electric atmosphere. Given the context, it might be the best day I have ever spent in VHS.
Then the Sugar Bowl, what a night.

I am so happy for Keith Carter. He has been a leader and made great decisions in the face of constant criticism and impossible situations.

What a time to be able to say “I am an Ole Miss Rebel”.
