1. We are working on solving the pop-up ad situations for subscribers. Hopefully, this won’t be an issue by the end of the week.
2. We are undertaking a major project with recruiting profiles. I understand that this has been a slow process, but we had a seminar Sunday during the combine at Olive Branch to equip every editorial staff member with the ability to build a prospect profile.
3. Our tech officer, Mason Glenn, told me recently that the redesign of the message board is coming soon, maybe even this week. The recent ice storm slowed down our progress on this front. I will have a story later today with more information on that.
4. Finally, I want to personally thank you all for giving us a test drive. Our editorial folks are working extremely hard to keep you informed. I think you will see OleMiss365.com take a tremendous leap over the next two weeks.
5. Post your ideas and desires in this thread. I want to know what you like and dislike. One of the greatest things about owning your own site is that there is no corporate hill to climb! If I get drunk and slam Rebel fans…well, it’s just me to blame.
I’m really looking forward to the new design!
Also, David, you said something about the ones of us who subscribed in the very early days were going to get, I guess the best way to put it, was something special. Does that still hold true?
I’m not sure about this but the ads in Locked On Ole Miss take longer than the actual comments from Steven Willis. Any chance yearly subscribers could have those removed somehow?

3. New message board design should be coming within week. I had a conference with them about it last night. I want this board top become a playground for Rebel fans! The new-look will be vibrant, colorful and fun!
We are. But I’m not pleased with the message board activity (I am pleased with you!). Today, so far, we have added 18 new subscribers. We have a total of a little above 800 right now. We had big surges when we launched and when someone told Rebel Nation he was not an Ole Miss fan and we weren’t going back to the playoffs. I am sure that endeared him to the football staff, as a matter of fact, I know it did. This new subscription deal we launched today is going extremely well.
We are in a total redesign of our message board right now. I have taken peeks at it, and it looks very modern and entertaining. We hope to have it up by week’s end. The font is also BIGGER! HALELUJAH!
