I have now been 15 days without power, Internet, water or heat. Thank God for the weather turning warmer. Unfortunately, my house in a neighborhood called Rolling Woods, across the street from Lafayette High School. I live on the very back street. It is a heavily-wooded area and one of the worst hit in Oxford. The Starbucks inside Kroger is where I write this. I am told power is likely to be restored by Monday. I have been staying off-and-on (depending upon the workload) at my daughter and son-in-law’s house in Tupelo and my wife just called to tell me we were going back tonight. The storm has been difficult on all of us. Lee Ann has been a tremendous help. I’d also like to give a shoutout to sales associate Anne Daniles Sams, who has been killing it, ice storm or not. There are so many people involved with this endeavor that you never know their names. I’m having my son-in-law develop a staff page, so you all will know everyone involved.
