It is time for this message board to explode. Post something dadgummit! I’ll chat with ya! I coached high school ball in Mississippi (high school football, middle school basketball) for 27 years. I’ve been on every site that covers Ole Miss in that period. This site is super when it comes to news, recruiting, and other stuff. The message board would have to run suicides after practice.

Where did you coach in Mississippi? My father coached and taught in Greenville for many years but that was many years ago too. I was in high school in the 60’s and he was coaching his last few years in the early 70’s.

The articles are great. I’m hopeful the forum will eventually take off. I was most active on General Chat on the other forum. A lot of good online friends have left in the last 11 months.

I coached high school football and track in Middle Tennessee for 36 years. When I told my AD I was hanging up my whistle, he talked me into taking an assistant golf coach opening, so I’ve been doing that for the last 7 years. That’s been a great fit in my older years.

I’m retiring from teaching at the end of May, so after that, I should have time to be on the forum more.

In the meantime, I’ll do a lot of lurking.
