A couple of posters finally took things too far with LoveOxford. He returned fire and put a couple of guys in their place. Unfortunately, I’m not sure they were rational enough to realize it.

I applaud David for setting up this board and running it as a civil board. Some boards have let personal attacks and name-calling outweigh content and information.

Surveys repeatedly showed that a majority of listeners did not approve of “Shock Jock” Howard Stern’s antics and content, but they watched him anyway. The reason: They wanted to see what he said next. I think that’s why some posters stay on such message boards. They want to see what certain obnoxious posters say next.
