Cool story about meeting Jason Taylor

I believe it was ‘14. My wife and I had been to Key West and back in Miami. My wife is in a boutique and I’m standing outside with an Ole Miss hat and shirt on. A convertible white Mercedes stops in front of me and the driver yells Hotty Toddy. I looked and said Hotty Toddy back and said Jason Taylor, what you know about Hotty Toddy? He parked his car and got out. He said he always thought Ole Miss and Oxford were really cool. We talked for several minutes then my wife walked out. I introduce them and very much not my wife, says “you’ve got to be the best looking man I’ve ever seen”. I laughed and Jason said, “Lantz, I believe you out kicked your coverage.” We all laughed and he told us where we should eat dinner and he called and made us reservations. It was a very fine place! I asked for my check and the waiter said “Mr. Taylor took care of y’all and told me to tell y’all Hotty Toddy.”

Played Dend for the Dolphins about 11 years. All pro and received Walter Payton Man of the year award. He’s now D line coach of the Hurricanes. Always been an extremely nice guy.

Taylor, I can wait on this board to get the kinks out just to not have to read all the nasty, vile, negative posts. It hurts me to think people can be so hateful but 247 is full of them. I’d rather not learn anything new than stuck with that mess. David is my kind of man and it appears those working with him get it! Welcome aboard!!!
