The coaching tree continues for another former player of Coach Yo, as Debreasha Powe has taken a job as an assistant coach at Coahoma Community College.

Powe finished her collegiate career with with Ole Miss, averaging 5.6 points per game, and 2.7 rebounds in the 2025-2026 season.
Before arriving to Ole Miss, Powe spent three seasons at Mississippi State, Powe was a member of the No.1 transfer portal class in the country alongside Cotie McMahon, Latasha Lattimore, and Tianna Thompson.
As a senior, Powe appeared in all 36 games for the Rebels, and started in 33 of those appearances.
A Meridian, Mississippi native, Powe will work alongside head coach Deneshia Faulkner, who reached the second round of Region 23 tournament in her first season with the Lady Tigers last year.
Ole Miss head coach Yolett-McPhee McCuin continues to build a coaching tree of former players, as former Ole Miss guard Myah Taylor joined the Rebels staff a few seasons ago, and one of her former players at Jacksonville Kayla Gordon recently was on staff in Oxford.
