Right-handed pitcher and utility player Paul Dufrene announced his commitment to head coach Mike Bianco and the Rebels on Tuesday. Dufrene is a 2028 prospect out of John Curtis Christian High School in Louisiana.
“I’m beyond blessed and excited to announce that I’m officially committed to the University of Mississippi,” Dufrene said. “I want to thank my family, coaches, teammates and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I’m grateful for every opportunity brought me to this point. Can’t wait to get to work and represent the Sip! Hotty Toddy.”
Dufrene has a fastball clocked in the low 90s. He measures in at 6-foot-5-inches and 180 pounds.
Outside of being a standout pitcher for his high school team, he is also a corner infielder, playing both first and third bases.
