Four-star forward Ahmed Nur took his official visit to Ole Miss back in August. On Saturday, he closed the deal, committing to Chris Beard and the Ole Miss men’s basketball program. He chose Ole Miss over finalists Syracuse, SMU and Florida State, all of which he also visited.
The 6-9 stud is rated as the nation’s No. 7 power forward and the No. 32 overall prospect in the 2027 class by the industry average.
Nur, originally from Minnesota, is now playing for Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale, Az.
Nur also held offers from Indiana, Kansas, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Cincinnati, Alabama, Arizona State, BYU, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Penn State, Rutgers, Texas, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and many others.
