
Trea Collins
Trea Collins will visit Ole Miss in an unofficial capacity on March 27. The visit marks a significant event in Collins’ recruitment.
Collins once was a commitment in the Rebels’ 2027 class. He announced his commitment to Ole Miss on May 11, 2025, just nine days after receiving an offer from the Rebels.
He decommitted on Nov. 30.
It now appears that Ole Miss has his attention once again. Collins has already set an official visit to Ole Miss up on June 12. he also plans to take officials to Tulane on June 4, and Mississippi State on June 19.
Collins is a 6-2, 175-pound, four-star defensive back rated as the No. 37 safety prospect per the industry average. He is ranked as the No. 13 prospect in Mississippi’s 2027 class.
In addition to Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Tulane, he holds offers from SEC programs LSU and Kentucky, as well as Michigan, Georgia tech, Arkansas State, Southern Miss, Pittsburgh, Army and others.

Trae’kerrion Collins is a rangy, playmaking 2027 free safety from Ridgeland High School (MS) with the size and instincts that make him one of the more intriguing defensive backs in the state. At 6’2”, 180 pounds, Collins brings ideal length and athleticism to the position and has already attracted multiple Power 4 offers. Collins posted a highly productive season with 62 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 6 interceptions, 11 pass breakups, a pick-six, and 2 forced fumbles, consistently showing the ability to impact the game in the secondary.
