Due to winter weather in the forecast for Tuesday night, first pitch for Ole Miss Baseball’s game against Austin Peay on March 17 will officially be moved up to 4 p.m. CT. Ticket holders will use their current tickets for the rescheduled game times. New tickets will not be issued.

Note from David: I do not see any precipitation forecast, but it will be very cold.

When I played high school baseball, we sometimes cancelled games due to unseasonably cold weather. Our coaches were concerned about the arms of our pitchers, in addition to other concerns.

Totally agree. I just would not play baseball in the cold. But I’m old. I don’t do much in the cold anymore the older I get. ha ha!
