Alvin Mosley finds himself in an enviable position, with an impressive array of Power 4 programs vying for his attention, and who could blame them? Just a brief glimpse at his highlight reel or a live viewing of his electrifying performances reveals that he is nothing short of a pure athletic anomaly. His exceptional talents extend beyond the football field; whether he’s showcasing his skills on the hardwood or demonstrating his prowess in any other sport, it’s clear that Mosley possesses a rare combination of speed, agility, and strength that sets him apart from his peers.
This past weekend Ole Miss 365 was in Houston to catch Mosley in his element as he considers a path that could very well lead him to the Velvet Ditch. Our first stop was Friday evening, where Mosley, who led the charge with 36 points, championed Crawford to a regional final victory over Navasota 67-50.
During our visit with the No. 16 wide receiver, we had the opportunity to catch up with Mosley at the Sunday Elite Rivals Camp, where he was not only there to support fellow athletes from the area but also took time to share his thoughts on what stands out to him about the Rebels. Among the schools competing for his commitment is none other than his hometown team, Houston, which has made a significant impression on him as he navigates this pivotal stage in his athletic career. But Rebels can get excited, as Mosley was sporting an Ole Miss shirt during Sunday’s events.
The Rebels’ relationships are running strong to keep that Texas pipeline of talent flowing in abundance to Oxford. We will be heading back for Mosley as he continues with his team in their quest for a state hoops title. Stay tuned, Rebels!
