Auburn sweeps Ole Miss women’s tennis

The No. 32 Ole Miss Women’s Tennis team lost to No. 5 Auburn, 4-0, at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center on Thursday night.

Ole Miss (6-3, 1-3 SEC) fell behind early as it lost the doubles point to begin the match.

In singles, Auburn (20-1, 3-0 SEC) continued to build on its momentum as it quickly won three straight singles courts to clinch the match.

Ole Miss will take the courts again this weekend on Saturday, March 7, at 1 p.m. It will face off against No. 23 Florida in what will be the team’s second match against each other this season.
