Local RB with SEC, Big 10 and Big 12 offers wants one from nearby Ole Miss

Tunica (Miss.) Rosa Fort High School star running back Christian Alexander.

Sources tell OleMiss365.com that 2027 Tunica (Miss.) Rosa Fort running back Christian Alexander has risen to be one to watch over the next several weeks and perhaps the Ole Miss Rebels are edging closer to extending him an offer.

Alexander was invited to the Rebels’ junior day set for the end of January, but Winter Storm Fern forced Ole Miss to cancel the event. The school was closed for more than two weeks afterwards and classes were canceled for an extended period, as well.

“I would be happy if Ole Miss gave me an offer,” Alexander told OleMiss365.com. “If I had the offer, they would probably immediately be in my top three, top four.”

The 5-8, 204-pounder has been clocked at 4.48 in the 40-yard dash. He holds offers from Mississippi State, Minnesota, Central Florida, Oregon State, Southern Miss , Arkansas State, Liberty, New Mexico State, Ole Dominion, Tulsa and others.

Alexander is rated as a four-star prospect per the industry-average rankings. He comes in as America’s No. 9 running back and the No. 8 player in the state of Mississippi’s 2027 class. Last season, he rushed for more than 1,500 yards and scored 22 touchdowns.

Alexander is an elusive, power back.

“You never know where I’m going or what I’m going to do next,” said Alexander.
