As the Oxford community unites, Ole Miss athletics is navigating through this challenging time. The No. 17 Ole Miss Rebels, led by Coach Yo, are set to face off against the No. 5 Vanderbilt Commodores. The game has been rescheduled to Friday, January 30, at 2 PM to Birmingham’s Legacy Arena, as announced by the SEC on Tuesday.
Admission will be free for fans, with doors opening at 1 PM CT. All seating will be general admission. For those unable to attend in person, the game will be available for live streaming on SEC Network +.
The Last Game Out
In their last outing, Ole Miss secured a decisive victory over Missouri with a score of 82-61. Cotie McMahon was a standout performer, contributing 33 points along with 12 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks. Sira Thienou also had an impressive game with 17 points and ten rebounds. On the other hand, Vanderbilt faced a tough defeat against South Carolina, losing 103-74 despite strong performances from Mikayla Blakes (23 points) and Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda (13 points). Despite their recent loss, the Commodores enter this matchup as slight favorites at -1.5.
Following this game, the Rebels will return to the Pavilion on Monday to take on Auburn.
