Ole Miss reached into the Lone Star State on Wednesday to a wide receiver who is already committed to Texas Tech. The rebels offered 2027, four-star prospect Benny Easter Jr. out of Summer Creek (Texas) High School. Easter has been committed to the Red Raiders ever since Nov. 20, 2025.
The 6-2, 190-pounder is not only one of the best receivers in Texas, he is also one of the best pass catchers in the nation. He is ranked the No. 20 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 21 overall player from the state.

Ole Miss joins an offer sheet that also includes Texas Tech, Kentucky, Houston, Kansas, Texas-El Paso, Oklahoma State and Colorado State.
Last season was busy for Easter, as he caught 89 passes for 1,309 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Easter, who owns blazing speed, turned in a time of 22.16 in the 200m as a sophomore.
