Keegan Croucher
Ole Miss quarterback commit Keegan Croucher is closing his high school career with an undefeated regular season and a spot among Tennessee’s top players.
The four-star senior is one of five semifinalists for Tennessee’s Division II-AAA Mr. Football Award after helping Baylor School finish the regular season 10-0 and capture the East Region championship. Baylor running back David Gabriel Georges also earned semifinalist recognition.
The award considers more than Friday night production. A statewide committee of sportswriters evaluates regular-season performance, with academics and character also included in the selection process.
For Ole Miss, the recognition adds to the résumé of a foundational piece of its 2027 recruiting class. At 6-foot-4½ and 200 pounds, Croucher gives the Rebels a nationally recognized quarterback prospect who has also taken an active role in recruiting other players to Oxford.
That involvement matters for Pete Golding’s program. Croucher has embraced helping build the class around him, giving fellow prospects a connection to the Rebels through a player who could eventually lead their offense.
Three finalists will be announced November 24, with the awards presentation scheduled for December 6 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Before arriving in Oxford, Croucher has two goals still ahead: helping Baylor pursue a state championship and advancing in Tennessee’s Mr. Football race.
