Ole Miss could be without several key contributors when it hosts Auburn on Saturday.
Offensive tackle Terez Davis and cornerback Jalyn Crawford are listed as questionable. Safety Edwin Joseph and running back Kewan Lacy are out.
Davis’ status is especially important for an offensive line looking to regain stability. He missed last week’s game against Texas, and the Rebels will continue monitoring his availability before kickoff. If he cannot play, Ole Miss will need its line to adjust again against Auburn’s defense.
Crawford’s status adds another question for the secondary. With Joseph unavailable, the Rebels will need their other defensive backs to help fill the gap against Auburn’s passing game.
Joseph continues to work through his recovery from ankle surgery. He has been rehabbing daily, but his return is taking longer than the staff had hoped.
Lacy’s absence will also affect the offense. Ole Miss will need its other running backs to take on more work while Lacy recovers from a shoulder injury.
Ole Miss is scheduled to host Auburn Saturday at 11:45 a.m. CT.
