Former Ole Miss receiver Cayden Lee is listed as probable for his return to Oxford, where Missouri faces the Rebels at 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday. Quarterback Austin Simmons, another former Rebel, is also listed as probable.
Lee leads Missouri with 42 receptions for 616 yards and five touchdowns through six games. His potential return gives Simmons a proven target against a defense that knows Lee well.
Ole Miss coach Pete Golding made the assignment clear: “We’re going to have to know where he is on every snap he’s in the game for sure.”
Lee and Donovan Olugbode have combined for 68 catches, 1,023 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. Ole Miss will need to locate Lee, limit Olugbode’s opportunities and pressure Simmons to disrupt Missouri’s passing game.
