Ole Miss has entered the recruitment of one of Louisiana’s top young offensive linemen.

Blair “Big Red” Lewis, a 6-foot-6, 320-pound offensive tackle from Jeanerette Senior High School, announced that he has received an offer from the Rebels. His early offer list also includes LSU, USC, Tulane and Memphis.

Lewis is rated as a four-star prospect and ranks as the No. 89 overall player, No. 7 offensive tackle and No. 2 prospect in Louisiana’s 2029 class according to the Industry Ranking.

Lewis has already attracted major attention because of his size and potential at offensive tackle. He has the frame to stand out immediately and will have several years to continue improving his technique, strength and overall game.

Ole Miss is getting involved early with Lewis, whose combination of size and upside has already attracted several major programs. The Rebels now join a recruitment that could become one of Louisiana’s most closely watched in the 2029 cycle.
