Jaterrian “Big Joe” Burgess
Ole Miss has moved early on one of Mississippi’s most physically impressive young prospects.
The Rebels have offered Jaterrian “Big Joe” Burgess, a 6-foot-6, 325-pound offensive tackle from South Panola in the Class of 2031.
Burgess is entering the eighth grade, but his size and mobility have already separated him from many players his age. The offer gives Ole Miss an opportunity to begin building a relationship with the in-state lineman years before he can sign.
Burgess will continue developing within South Panola’s tradition-rich program. His recruitment is only beginning, but the Rebels have made sure they are involved from the start.
