Liam Barrett
Ole Miss is getting involved early with one of the more intriguing young offensive tackles in the 2028 class.
The Rebels have offered 6-foot-7, 250-pound St. Charles East (Ill.) standout Liam Barrett, adding an SEC offer to a recruitment that is starting to take off.
Barrett already holds offers from Purdue, Cincinnati, Kansas, Iowa State and Akron, giving him a solid early group of Power Four programs to consider.
What makes Barrett especially interesting is how much development he still has in front of him. He already has the length college coaches want at tackle, but with two more high school seasons ahead, there is plenty of time for him to add strength, size and experience.
Ole Miss isn’t waiting around to see how big Barrett’s recruitment gets. The Rebels are getting involved early, and with more programs likely to come calling, that early offer could matter down the road. Barrett is another name to watch as Ole Miss continues building its 2028 board and pushing to get ahead on rising offensive line targets.
