Apparently, Oxford’s No. 1 pizza place has a new pie it is pushing. The sign below was seen in Little Italy on University Avenue on Saturday.

Wow. “The Lane Special,” featuring lots of cheese and a little sausage. We’ll leave the interpretation up to you. We asked, and if you order it, it actually has lots of the pizza place’s trademark Italian sausage and cheeses. It will run you $25.99.

Little Italy has become a staunch supporter of the Ole Miss Rebels and has recently remodeled their restaurant with Ole Miss murals from wall to wall. They have hosted OleMiss365.com podcasts and a pizza eating contest between Ole Miss linebackers Raymond Collins, Keaton Thomas and Luke Ferelli.

The word is Little Italy is developing a pizza of the week for every game the Rebels play this season. “The Lane Special,” though, takes the cake.

Kiffin left an Ole Miss team that was playoff bound after the 2025 regular season to accept the head coaching job at LSU. The Rebels host the Kiffin-led Tigers on Sept. 19, in what is being billed as this season’s game of the century.

The Rebels, under then newly-named head coach Pete Golding, defeated Tulane and Georgia, advancing to the national semifinals of the College Football Playoffs.

Little Italy is located at 1725 University Avenue in Oxford. Their phone number is (662) 380-5115.
