June recruiting recap: Rebels stack elite talent for the future

Ole Miss Head Coach Pete Golding and four-star defensive lineman Marvin Nguetsop

Pete Golding and his staff wrapped up one of the program’s strongest recruiting months in recent memory, adding several blue-chip prospects while building one of the SEC’s fastest-rising 2027 classes. The Rebels finished the month with major commitments from four-star wide receiver Alvin Mosley, four-star offensive tackle Antonio Berry, four-star linebacker Jeremiah Culpepper and four-star defensive lineman Marvin Nguetsop.

Berry’s commitment was especially important, as the Tupelo standout gave the Rebels another elite in-state prospect and strengthened an offensive line class built around size and physicality. Mosley added a dynamic playmaker on the outside after choosing Ole Miss over Texas, Arkansas and Houston, giving the Rebels another explosive weapon for the future.

The month wasn’t just about commitments. Ole Miss hosted numerous top targets for official visits, positioned itself for several July announcements, and continued climbing the national recruiting rankings. The Rebels enter July firmly in the mix for additional blue-chip prospects, including four-star athlete Tae Walden Jr. and four-star safety Jayden Anding.

June proved that Golding and his staff can recruit with anyone in the SEC. With momentum on their side and several major decisions still ahead, Ole Miss has positioned itself to make July just as productive.
