Today is one of the biggest recruiting days of the summer for Ole Miss as two priority targets are set to announce their college decisions.

The first announcement comes at 11:30 a.m. CT, when four-star Ruston (La.) safety Jayden Anding reveals his choice. The battle appears to be down to Ole Miss and LSU, with the Tigers entering the day as the favorite.
4-star ATH Tae Walden Jr.
Later this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. CT, four-star athlete Tae Walden Jr. will make his commitment. Ole Miss and Oregon are considered the two finalists, with recent recruiting buzz pointing toward the Ducks. Still, the Rebels remain firmly in the hunt.
By the end of the afternoon, Ole Miss could celebrate landing two elite prospects—or come up empty. Either way, today will have a major impact on the Rebels’ 2027 recruiting class.
