Ole Miss duo earns Walter Camp preseason all-american honors

Lucas Carneiro (17)

Ole Miss continues to rack up preseason honors, this time placing two players on the Walter Camp Preseason All-America Team. Running back Kewan Lacy earned first-team recognition, while kicker Lucas Carneiro was named to the second team.

Carneiro has earned a reputation as one of the most dependable kickers in college football, and the national recognition keeps coming after another outstanding season in Oxford.

Lacy is coming off a monster 2025 season in which he rushed for 1,567 yards and 24 touchdowns on 306 carries, averaging 5.1 yards per carry. He enters the 2026 season as one of the nation’s top running backs and a key piece of the Rebels’ offense.
