Mackenzie Pickens heads to transfer portal

Mackenzie Pickens

Ole Miss softball will have a significant void to fill as Mackenzie Pickens has officially entered the transfer portal following a productive season in Oxford.

Pickens was one of the Rebels’ most consistent offensive threats during the 2026 campaign, finishing the season with a .271 batting average while blasting 11 home runs and driving in 43 RBIs. She also crossed the plate 52 times and collected 48 hits, showcasing both her power and ability to create scoring opportunities throughout the year.

The veteran slugger played a key role in Ole Miss’ lineup, providing experience and offensive production in the middle of the order. Her decision to enter the transfer portal gives her the opportunity to explore new options while adding an experienced bat to the national market.

With 11 home runs and 43 RBIs this past season, Pickens is expected to draw considerable interest from programs looking to add proven power and production heading into next year.
